About the 10 in 10 Project
Mission
The mission of the 10 in 10 Project is to benefit the millions of military and civilian Americans who are living with brain injuries and are unable to afford or access the necessary assistance. The Project aims to achieve its goals by raising money through a unique fund raising effort called Tickets of Hope™. Through Tickets of Hope™ we will be able to provide support and assistance to people living with brain injuries and their families.
Tickets of Hope™
Donations totaling $600 purchase one Ticket of Hope™
For each Ticket we raise, The 10 in 10 Project is able to provide:
- One Brain Injury Recovery Kit™ shipped to the individual's home,
- A support program for use of the Kit through our hosting Brain Injury Association - The Brain Injury Association of New Mexico, (BIANM)
- Membership to the Chartered Affiliate Brain Injury Association in the individual's state to be guided to additional resources.
How is your donation spent?
The Financial Breakdown
85% of each Ticket raised goes to direct support and tools for the individual
and family.
15% of each Ticket raised goes to administration for the organization and
to increase awareness.
Specifically, each $600 contributed buys the following:
- $350 one Brain Injury Recovery Kit™
- $30 shipping/handling for one Kit
- $50 Membership to local Brain Injury Association
- $80 direct support to the hosting BIA to provide support & education for use of the Kit
- $90 for program management, including telephone support,
and administration and for links to important organizations doing work
to support individuals and their families after brain injury.
